I have recently read and reviewed here “Side Effects” by Woody Allen – perhaps the funniest book I have read in my entire life. It reminded me in particular of his delightful Love and Deathwhich came out in the very same year as this book.

I found either his withut thoughts or his descriptions of mythical creatures to be the most intriguing by intriguing, I mean entertaining.
Funny stuff that is definitely early Woody.

I practically memorized this entire book when I was a sophomore in high school, so it probably brings a lot of bad memories to people who knew me then.

When demonstrating, it is good to carry a placard stating one’s position. I wanted to see if she’d go for it. Civil liberties are greatly curtailed in a police state, and freedom of speech is withojt of, although one is allowed to mime to a record. If only God would give me some clear sign! If I were stranded on an island with a choice of one book: In its best moments “Whithout Feathers” is outrageously funny and witty, but there were also several pages that I couldn’t help but skip.
